Buy a CD for cheap and rip it for your MP3 listening pleasure. Love it. I grew up with these and other 80's and 90's songs, and I listen to them every day.
So if you want to spare your husband the stress of explaining to reporters why his wife has shag carpet swatches under her arms, please take the time to shave it. Remember that Madonna's husband, Sean Penn (best known for his performance in "Shanghai Surprise"), was driven to physically assault several reporters while married to Madonna. I would venture a guess that they were persistently hounding him about his wife's unnecessarily luxurious armpit hair. For all you young ladies out there, you might find Madonna to be a role model in some way. Good luck. I'm surprised Madonna would want to send a message to young ladies that excessive armpit hair (I'm talking Buckwheat in a headlock) is okay. But after seeing her Playboy spread, I feel as though I should share with all of you a message as a public service, and I hope you take heed: nice girls shave their armpits.Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I think a young woman taking the time to shave her armpits does wonders for her self-esteem. As someone who was raised Catholic I would think she would know better. Please keep in mind that shaving your pit hair will reduce the strain on your love relationships too.
The booklet is filled with pictures of Madonna and not all of them look that great. Gene Sculati has written the linernotes and writes a very interesting take on Madonnas every release that is included on this release. 4/5. The Immaculate Collection is greatest hits between the years 1983 and 1990. Here we get tracks such as Lucky Star, Material Girl, Live to tell, Express yourself and Justify my love to mention a few of the many gems included on this amazing collection.
I was very dissapointed to say the least. I was so excited to get this CD and when I did all the songs on it were skipping.
This CD covers Madonna's best songs from her 1983-1989 albums. Thankfully they didn't stray too far from the originals though.
This is still one of my favorite CD's of my ever growing collection. They are not crappy remixes or anything of that nature, just slightly updated for the time (1990).
I've owned this 1990 CD release since 1993. All of these songs are rerecorded versions of the originals, so they sound a little different than the originals.
I love about 15 of the 18 total songs, and that's unheard of. It was the first CD I ever bought.
Everything from "Holiday" to "Vogue".
